I really hate when there’s a sneaky commercial placed in the middle of a video. I either skip past it, or just click out of the video entirely, and I’m guarenteed not to share the vid, because I don’t fancy promoting products/companies that I don’t personally use, like, know about, etc.
Probably those of us that hate sponsored videos that don’t disclose it in the title or at the very start of the video 🙂

So this is dumb, but where I’m from NO ONE COOKS WITH BEANS. I have tried a few times, but every time I eat them I throw up an hour later… am I not cooking them right? How long are you meant to cook them? How do you cook them??
how do you cook canned ones?
alannah that’s a tough question. most recipes are pretty complex: first you sort through the beans and pick out stones, then rinse them in cold running water. with fresh water you soak them overnight. then drain them, and rinse again. you boil fresh water, and once boiling add the beans. return to boil, then reduce to simmer for at least an hour. then you can get on with the rest of your recipe.
with all this prep, it’s easy to understand why many people opt for canned beans.
Prefer you talking to the music, but great prep ideas.

Liking the look of the bean balls, might have to rustle some of those up.
very nice, we had them with tagliatelle and sauce and all enjoyed them. will happily make them again and perhaps try adding spices to make them into koftas to have with a curry. Thanks for the recipe.

I know it’s your choice, but imho you’re thinking too much about your weight.
That’s what comes across in a lot of your videos. I’m not saying you have an eating disorder, it just always sounds like you think you should loose a few pounds. In this case it’s even in the video title. My impression might be wrong and I acutally hope that, because you seem to have a healthy weight.

Have you ever put vital wheat gluten in your bean balls? The recipe I use from Veganomicon calls for just 1/4 cup and it really makes the texture so much better. I love your meal prep videos!

Guys,cheap lazy vegan can you please tell me what type of brown rice are you using because whenever I cook brown rice(basmati brown rice) it turns out ‘gummy’, I can’t completely explain but it does not turn out like the one in the video
I once baked tofu in soy sauce, but I found it tasted really sour. Do you have an idea why that could be? Could it have been the type of tofu I was using? It made me so sad because I love both soy sauce and tofu so much 😭

I eat like this literally every day.. and even cleaner. can’t seem to lose any weight… been 4 months (I also exercise 4 -5 times a week). think I’m going to have to start focusing more on calories Cuz vegan food is high AF in calories and this bullshit that calories don’t matter when you eat clean plant based food is really not true. yes I need to lose a good 25 pounds..I’m overweight.

how long can you store this? I really like the idea of prepping a weeks worth of food but doesn’t it get bad after three,four,five days? especially the spinach and broccoli

I am amazed! I finally found something that works! I am 45 years old. I have struggled over and over with trying to lose weight and often gain weight for no reason at all. I have bought different supplements and tried different diets over the years and was so skeptical with *weight loss green store tea* but thought it would be worth a try! In one month I have lost 6 lbs! Now this may not seem like much to people, but this is without exercise! I hope to get back on an exercise routine soon and I think the weight will come off even faster then! It not only curbs your appetite, but it really does seem to work in getting rid of the fat! I have not even been diligent with my eating and exercise and have lost weight—-this NEVER happens with me. I will not run out of this stuff, I ordered another bottle when the first one started getting low! LOVE IT!
